This is my first post after an intro post, after spending a day thinking about what my first post should be, I decided to write my story about a Canon Pixma IP1600 inkjet printer. About six months ago I purchased this fabulous printer for home use. I used word ‘fabulous’ because this printer has separate ink cartridges for each color so I was pretty sure that would save me money instead of purchasing a inkjet printer with a single cartridge where I need to throw away all colors once one color is empty.
I purchased that Canon printer with four free ink cartridges in an offer. I was pretty sure that I have found a smart deal and made good savings with 4 free ink cartridges. But savings on ink cartridge became nightmare when I run out with all my free cartridges within 4 months of time, as we do lots of printing work at home. It was unbelievable to know that the price of that printer is dropped and original brand cartridge for the same is available at more the cost of printer I purchased. I cannot afford this much expensive cartridges every 4th or 3rd month.
I made my research on internet looking for cost effective solution, discussed with my friends and then one of my good friend suggested me to refill my ink cartridge or to switch on compatible version. I was not sure whether it would give me the good quality prints but that was only the choice in order to save on big expense. Again I made my research as from where to buy compatible version, and I came up with online site PrinterInkCartridges.ie where the cost of single cartridge was available for only the fraction of original cost.
Not knowing whether to buy online or not but I wanted to try. Ordered PG40 Black 16ml cartridge at €15.3 only. To test the quality of the cartridge I just ordered one black cartridge. Received the delivery of my order the next very day which was quite surprising. To test the quality I have taken some printouts. The results were surprisingly very impressive seems like there is no difference in original printout and compatible version printouts. Then I placed the order for other three cartridges, 70% of ink is still remaining in the printer. I thing I’m pretty sure that I will place my next order at Printerinkcartridges only. Buying ink and toner cartridges can be a huge recurring expense month after month. Whether you own a printer at home or run a business, by being smart about how you buy cartridges you can save literally hundreds of Euros over time depending on how much you consume.
